Jeera Rice

  • Basmathi rice - 1cup
  • Ghee - 1tbsp
  • Jeera - 1tsp
  • Salt for taste

  • Heat the pressure pan with ghee in normal heat.
  • Add the cumin seeds & allow it to splutter.
  • Now add 2 cups of water.
  • Add salt & rice.
  • when the water starts bubbling, reduce the heat to low, cover the lid, & cook it for 15 mints.
  • Serve hot with any spicy curry.

Tips for the recipe - You can also use any heavy bottom pan with tight lid. You can also add few fried cashews in before serving.
